I have heard it said that, “Christian love for Christ is an illusion of the mind,”. Clearly God who created us, fully understands how our mind and our imagination work, and has in His eternal foreknowledge and wisdom designed the wonderful message of the bloodstained cross of Calvary and the Gospel accordingly, in that the Gospel message of salvation not only saves a sinner to eternal life, but also fulfill the greatest need and desire of the  human heart, which is to be loved, unconditionally. It should not surprise anyone that the Gospel God planned before the foundation of the world would not only save to eternal life, but also minister to the greatest need of the human heart.
